A Space for Trans Folks to Talk about Pleasure and Intimacy
Â
1st Sunday of each month, 5:00 - 6:30 PM
UPCOMING DATES: May 7 / June 4 / July 2 / August 6, 2023
Â
T Time is Tool Shed’s monthly space for trans, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming people. Our discussion group is exclusively for trans* and gender-questioning folks; cis friends and partners may join their loved ones when browsing the store. Browsing time happens from 5:00pm to 5:30pm, and discussion group happens from 5:30pm-6:30pm.
Â
T Time happens on the first Sunday of the month, after our regular store hours have ended at 5pm, offering a relaxed space for trans and nonbinary folks to ask questions and learn in a more focused environment.
Â
Upcoming Discussion Topics:
May 7: Hooking Up
June 4: Desire Mapping
July 2: Packer/STP 101
August 6: Asexuality
Â
Trans folks have a right to explore and enjoy pleasure in whatever ways work for them. Join us for a monthly discussion about different aspects of gender, sexuality, pleasure, and intimacy. We talk about the joys, the challenges, and the random. Previous topics have included transfem experience, kink, and more!
Â
T Time also offers specialized shopping time for trans and non-binary customers who have in-depth questions about our gender identity products. Tool Shed staff will be available to offer insight and help with sizing measurements for bras, binders, etc.Â
Â
Moderating the group is Shaan Lashun (he/they), one of the Tool Shed’s newest team members! In addition to his role at Tool Shed as a kink/sexuality educator, Shaan runs the Milwaukee Queer Munch – a monthly gathering for queer and trans kinksters (and the curious/exploring) – and has a busy history working in sex education and trans wellness.
Â
*Please bear in mind that in addition to offering gender expression products and services, The Tool Shed's physical location is a sexuality boutique that is focused on sexual wellness products. As such, we require that T Time attendees be at least 18 years of age when attending T Time, or if younger than 18 are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
